We started the week with a very easy but full of flavor recipe: delicious and crispy quail eggs breaded with hazelnuts. The perfect appetizer to start any meal.
Its elaboration is very fast and with a few ingredients, but the result is spectacular. Crispy and golden on the outside and soft and tasty on the outside.
As you can deduce by the photos in my Instagram of our new kitchen, we are in the process of moving! So for today I don’t extend this post and I tell you the recipe. This week we going to painting and go to buy all the furniture
Ingredients for quail eggs breaded with hazelnuts:
- 12 quail eggs
- 60 g minced hazelnuts
- 50 g breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 beaten egg
- Frying oil
- Salt and pepper
How to make quail eggs breaded with hazelnuts:
First, place the quail eggs in a pot, cover them with water and put them on high heat to cook. When the water begins to boil, let 3 minutes and drain. Let cool and peel.
Then, mix the breadcrumbs with the crushed hazelnuts, salt and pepper.
We put a frying pan with abundant oil to the fire.
At this point, cover the eggs with the cornstarch. Shake and deep first on the beaten egg, then for the mixture of breadcrumbs and repeat the process: first with the beaten egg and finally for the breadcrumbs.
Fry the eggs until golden and crispy. Let them drain for a few minutes in a dish covered with absorbent paper, to remove excess oil.
Serve untill hot.
