Hummus is the perfect recipe to surprise our guests without spending hours in the kitchen, it’s ready in less than 10 minutes! It is also a healthy dip and we can serve it with peaks of bread or raw vegetables (carrot, celery, peppers, …).
Ingredients for Hummus:
- 400 gr cooked chickpeas (cold)
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- A pinch of salt
- 1 small garlic
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
- 1 small lemon juice
- Olive oil
- Water from cooking the chickpeas
How to make Hummus:
Put the chickpeas, tahini, salt, garlic, cumin and lemon juice in a blender and beat until smooth puree. Add a little of the cooking water from the chickpeas and beat, we search a consistent but soft texture.
Serve the hummus on a plate, sprinkle paprika over and add a splash of olive oil.
