If you liked the corn dogs, you’ll love the corn dog muffins!!!

Ingredients for Corn dog muffins (serves 12):
- 165 gr cornmeal
- 60 gr flour
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup (245 ml) buttermilk (or 245 ml of milk with a few drops of lemon)
- 2 tablespoons (26 gr) unsalted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup (250 gr) grated cheese
- 300 gr of frankfurters
- Our favorite sauce
How to make Corn dog muffins:
Preheat the oven to 200 °C and grease the muffin cups with a little butter or oil.
Mix the dry ingredients (flours, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda) with all liquid ingredients (melted butter, egg and buttermilk). Mix well and add the grated cheese and 2/3 of the sliced frankfurters.
Pour the batter into the muffin cups, filling only half and sprinkle the rest of frankfurters on top.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until we see are golden.
Let cool 5 minutes, unmold helping with the tip of a knife and serve with your favorite salsa.
