Ingredients for corn dogs:
- 150 gr cornmeal
- 150 gr all-purpose flour
- 60 gr sugar
- 10 gr baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp de freshly ground pepper
- 500 ml milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 20 hot dogs
- 20 wooden skewers
- Vegetable oil for frying
How to make corn dogs:
Roll hot dogs in all-purpose flour until well coated and insert wooden skewers into frankfurters.
In a large bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, salt, sugar, pepper and baking powder. In other bowl combine honey, egg, olive oil and milk. Mix both.
Roll frankfurters in batter until well coated. Fry in hot oil until lightly browned and drain on paper towels.
