I love pasta, but I also love to try new sauces and flavors, so when I discovered this arugula and walnuts pesto, I had to cook it as soon as possible. This sauce is amazing, but the most amazing is that we can prepare a pasta dish in only 10 minutes!! Only the time to cook the pasta, because the sauce is ready in 2 minutes more or less.
The combination of flavors is surprising because the arugula harmonize perfectly with pasta; nuts added the magic touch that makes it perfect. Furthermore, we combine hot pasta with a cold sauce, which makes this recipe in the better dish for this spring/summer.
Ingredients for Arugula and nuts pesto:
- 150 gr arugula
- 50 gr nuts
- 50 gr parmesan cheese
- 1 garlic clove
- Freshly ground pepper to taste
- 1 dash of extra virgin olive oil
How to make Arugula and nuts pesto:
Start cooking the pasta; while we are going to cook the pesto.
In the bowl of a blender put the leaves of arugula, walnuts, parmesan cheese (grated or diced), garlic, salt, pepper and 1 dash of olive oil and grind well until a smooth sauce.
